This specific individual was so friendly with me I couldn't get over it. Every day for 3 days it was feeding in the same spot on the ground chasing around little insects. Each day when the sun wasn't blasting down into this low area I would walk in and lay down to see what shots I could get. It was funny how every time I first lay down the bird would come right up to me too close for me to focus with my 300mm lens which is about 4.5 feet. Many times I ended up taking photos and videos of the bird with my phone and at one point it landed on my lens and then my back. I'd never seen anyting like it and it was pretty cool to capture such a close and detailed portrait of this beautiful little bird.
