I spent the morning working with Derek Shenot and we had a wonderful opportunity for some incredible wide angle wading birds in Florida. The sky was amazing and so we both went for the wide angle look. Derek was getting a wonderful image of this Great Egret and since I was holding back so he could get the shot I decided to grab one with him in it. I ended up liking this image a lot as it shows how the relationship of birds and humans has evolved at this location due to the constant presence of fisherman. This has allowed us photographers to change things up a bit and shoot with lenses we normally don't get a chance to with these types of birds.
