Orange-crowned Warbler Chase

Orange-crowned Warbler Chase

I've never photographed Orange-crowned Warblers and when we came upon this spot that had a lot of them feeding I was excited to see them. Unfortunately, the full mid-day sun would not quit and the light was pretty harsh for portraits. I got very lucky when I caught this moment of two of them chasing each other in flight. I have no idea how I captured this but I thought it was cool to see this behavior and the fun positions each bird was in. It also helped that the action distracts a bit from the crappy lighting. I did remove a few distracting elements in the background in post as well as added some space on the right to balance the composition better but I didn't mess with the birds themselves, this is how they were captured.
