Just a Common Loon family floating lazily on the calm water at sunrise with a big splash from one of the parents. The one adult had just shaken its head for some reason and caught the water to make a big splash. It was no easy task to get the entire family all lined up in generally the same focal plane and facing the same direction. The light on this particular moring was something special and we took advantage of it shooting every angle of light possible before the sun got too high.
