Finding an entirely colorless scene in spring is no easy task. This Prothonotary Warbler kindly perched on this small dead tree in front of an entirely colorless scene in the foreground and background. There was a bit more contrast and darkness to the original shot so I lightened it up a bit and lessened the contrast overall which helped to add to the stark look of the overall scene. The vibrant almost tangerine yellow color of the bird really jumps out in a scene like this.
