Stick Flight
This Great Egret flew back and forth from the nest to a spot right in front of us about 5 times. Each time it would look around for just the right stick to take back to the nest. A few times we could not beieve it could fly with such a large stick but this particular one seemed to be just right. The warm setting sun lit up the egret perfectly on this flight as it returned to the nest. Taken at the Stick marsh near Fellsmere Florida.
